The founding standard.

LRT was founded because too many training courses are designed for the brochure. We teach the craft of shooting, tactics and pre-hospital care the way it was taught to us in the Royal Marines: drill, debrief, repeat, and hold the standard.

Every course is designed from the brief down. Every drill is written for an outcome. Every instructor writes the material they deliver.

Framework.

E.D.G.E.

The four words that sit behind every LRT course. They are not an acronym for branding; they are the sequence we actually teach in.

  1. E01

    Educate

Teach the why before the how. Every drill sits on top of principles a student can articulate.

  2. D02

    Develop

Build skill through progression, not showmanship. Reps that compound over days and weeks.

  3. G03

    Guide

Instructor time is one-to-one time. Observations and corrections land on the student they are about.

  4. E04

    Execute

Assess under pressure. Scenario work, realistic conditions, debriefs that change next week’s practice.
